DOTTERELS VISIT THE SUCHET
It’s that time of the year again! Dotterels are passing by Switzerland now on their way to Africa. Two of them stopped at the Suchet recently and as usual it was a pleasure to see this beautiful species close to home… Tried to obtain a few original images, which is not easy because it is a species already well photographed by many bird watchers and photographers. I was happy with some of the images I took, which is quite rare!
I do not often take B&W images of wildlife, but this one stands out nicely !
Mathieu in the warm tones of the setting sun at the Suchet, enjoying beautiful views on the two juvenile Dotterels this day.
The Suchet is not only about Dotterels, the evening views are just absolutely amazing! One more reason to spend time there in late summer…
